Tax & Accounting Services

Tax and Accounting Services

Our firm provides a variety of tax consulting services. We understand the challenges facing small business owners and strive to keep our clients apprised of the most current planning opportunities and regulatory obligations. We believe in taking a proactive approach with regard to tax planning. Rather than merely calculating your tax due, we will work with you throughout the year to plan and seek opportunities to help you save while there is still time left in the year to act. Effective communication is paramount, and we strive to make it easy and enjoyable for you to talk with us. We invite you to call us and ask us questions all throughout the year. In fact, we even take it a step further: we call you when we believe an opportunity exists that may benefit you and/or your company. Please feel free to contact us for more information on our tax planning and preparation services.

Financial Statements

Privately owned businesses are often required to prepare financial statements at the request of bankers, insurance companies, and outside investors. Likely, the request is for financial statements that have been compiled, reviewed, or audited by an independent certified public accounting firm. Silva, Sceirine & Associates, LLC is pleased to provide these services to our clients and always does so with confidence and efficiency.

Accounting Consulting Services

Silva, Sceirine & Associates, LLC is committed to superior audit quality and has experience in auditing and financial statement preparation for nonpublic companies. We believe that an audit is more than the preparation of financial statements and our goal is to deliver value to our clients beyond the printing and binding of a financial statement with an attached auditor’s report. Our team of experienced auditors knows how to engage in an active conversation with our clients’ personnel and management throughout the audit process, which brings to light matters of interest and concern about a business’s processes, internal controls, and potential operational inefficiencies.

At the completion of an audit engagement, we will often issue what is known as a “management letter”. While management letters are not a required part of the audit process, they provide an opportunity to add value to the audit process by communicating matters that we believe to be of potential benefit to our clients, such as recommendations for operational or administrative efficiency or for improving internal control.
